The ladle is crafted from brass with a polished finish and features hand-carved wood horns. The implement part is made of stainless steel.
It requires hand washing only with mild soap and warm water. Dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not place it in a dishwasher.
The horns are hand-carved wood and are designed for aesthetic appeal. While durable for normal use, they should be handled with care to avoid damage.
The dimensions are approximately 28 x 9cm.
While functional, its unique design and artisanal materials make it best suited for special occasions or as a decorative serving piece to preserve its condition.
No, this product is not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is required to maintain the materials and finish.
This ladle was created in collaboration with artists Simon and Nikolai Haas.
Gently polish the brass with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn tarnish, use a specialized brass cleaner following the product instructions, and ensure to avoid the wooden horn elements. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Lightly apply a food-safe wood conditioner or a tiny amount of mineral oil with a soft cloth to the wooden parts. Allow it to absorb, then wipe away any excess. Avoid over-oiling.
Minor scratches may be buffed out with a very fine polishing cloth. For deeper scratches, professional restoration might be considered, though this is generally not recommended for routine care.
This ladle requires no setup and is ready for immediate use. It is designed for serving food. Due to the materials used – polished brass and hand-carved wood horns – it is not suitable for dishwashers. To maintain its lustrous finish and the integrity of the wood, hand wash only with a mild detergent and warm water. Dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots or tarnishing. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the polished brass and the wood carvings. Store in a dry place, ideally in its original packaging or a soft cloth bag, to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
