Setup
- Preparation: Gather all components and tools (hacksaw or jigsaw, measuring tape, pencil, screwdriver, and level).
- Measurement: Measure the required length of the handrail, and mark the cutting point if necessary.
- Cutting: Use a hacksaw or jigsaw to cut the tube to the desired length.
- Bracket Installation: Install wall brackets, ensuring they are level. Use the provided screws and Fischer wall plugs.
- Tube Installation: Attach the handrail tubes to the installed wall brackets.
- End Caps: Attach the shallow end caps to the ends of the tube.
Compatibility
The Rothley Antique Copper Stair Handrail Kit is compatible with most interior staircases. Ensure that the wall is suitable for the provided wall plugs. Check for any obstructions before installation.
Care
- Wipe the handrail with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
- Regularly check the screws and brackets to ensure they are secure.
