The McAlpine WM14V is a plumbing trap designed for use with domestic appliances such as dishwashers and washing machines. It is an anti-syphon (Silentrap) 'P' trap, preventing the backflow of wastewater and airlocks. The trap features a 75mm water seal to prevent foul odours and a 1.5" multifit outlet for easy connection to standard pipework. It also has a 135° swivel inlet connection for convenient installation. The anti-syphon feature ensures the trap remains full of water, creating an effective barrier. This tubular swivel trap prevents unpleasant smells and wastewater backflow. It's a reliable and easy-to-install solution for a clean waste system for appliances. The WM14V is supplied with a blank plug, allowing it to function as a normal sink trap until domestic appliances are connected. It suits all plastic, copper, and lead pipe.
