Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure the intended interior wall surface is dry, clean, and free of dust and debris. A smooth surface is recommended for best adhesion. Panels can be cut to size using appropriate woodworking tools, though precision is advised due to the interlocking design. Apply a suitable adhesive (not included) to the back of each panel or directly to the wall, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions. Press the panels firmly into place, ensuring the interlocking edges connect tightly.
Compatibility: These panels are designed for interior walls only. They are compatible with most standard drywall and plaster surfaces that have been properly prepared. Avoid installation in areas with high moisture or extreme temperature fluctuations.
Care: To maintain the natural beauty of the teak wood, dust panels regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For occasional cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the wood finish. Consider using a wood sealant designed for teak if enhanced protection or a specific sheen is desired, testing in an inconspicuous area first.
