Natures Aid Folic Acid provides 400ug of Folic Acid, which contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. The UK Department of Health recommends that all women planning a pregnancy should supplement with 400g Folic Acid daily when trying to conceive and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. This supplement helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue, contributes to normal blood formation, supports normal psychological functions, and contributes to normal amino acid synthesis. It is made with 100% naturally sourced ingredients. The active ingredients include Di-Calcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Anticaking Agents Vegetable Source Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, and Folic Acid. To use, swallow 1 tablet daily with water. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep out of reach of children.
