This Crystal-Direct front door in Eaton Blue is designed for homeowners seeking enhanced security and energy efficiency without compromising on style. Its key benefit is the integration of a high-security locking system with the discreet Kubu smart alerting system, offering peace of mind. A potential caveat is that the specific dimensions (2090 x 920mm) require a precise fit for installation. Key features include double glazing, a GRP skin for durability, and a polyurethane foam core for excellent thermal performance.

'Open in Left hand' refers to the door's handing when viewed from the outside. The hinges will be on the left, and the door will swing inwards to the left.
The door measures 920mm in width and 2090mm in height. This height measurement includes the PVC cill.
Kubu uses discreet sensors integrated with the multi-point locking system to detect unauthorized access attempts and send real-time alerts to your smartphone, offering a modern layer of security.
No, GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) is a composite material known for its strength and durability, offering excellent weather resistance and stability, distinct from uPVC.
While possible, professional installation is highly recommended due to the integrated security systems and the need for precise fitting to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
The low aluminium threshold provides a durable, unobtrusive entry point that also helps maintain the door's weather seal and contributes to thermal efficiency.
Ensure the Kubu sensors are properly paired with your smart device and that your Wi-Fi is connected. Check the Kubu app for status updates and re-pair if necessary.
Check for any obstructions around the frame or hinges. Ensure the locking bolts are fully retracted. Adjustments may be needed by a professional installer.
Inspect the door seals for damage or wear. Ensure the threshold is properly seated. If drafts persist, professional adjustment or seal replacement may be required.
Minor condensation between panes could indicate a seal failure in the double-glazed unit. Contact the supplier or installer for assessment.
Setup: This door is designed for professional installation. It comes pre-fitted with a handle, low aluminium threshold, and PVC cill. Ensure the opening dimensions precisely match the door's 920 x 2090mm size (including the cill height). The Kubu system is pre-installed and ready to be paired with your compatible smart home devices.
Compatibility: The Kubu smart alerting system is designed to work with most secure multi-point door locks and cylinders. For full functionality, ensure you have a compatible smartphone and potentially a home Wi-Fi network for remote alerts.
Care: Clean the GRP skin and glass surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Periodically check the locking mechanisms and seals for optimal performance. Refer to the Kubu system's specific instructions for maintaining its smart features.
