To install, attach one end of the BT wire to your current Master Socket or another extension socket using the supplied IDC tool. Clip the cable into place and run it to the desired location for your new BT extension socket. Cut the wire to length and connect it to the new BT extension socket. The kit includes: 50m 4 Way (2 Pair) Wire Reel - Solid Core 0.2mm² - CW1308, 1 x Surface Mounted BT Extension Socket with Screws & Back Box, 100 x 5mm Cable Clips, and 1 x IDC Tool. For newer NTE5A master sockets, the front panel has 3 IDC terminals where a cable can be attached using an IDC tool, wired as terminal 2 to 2, 3 to 3, and 5 to 5. For older master sockets without a removable front panel, wire similarly but crimp a BT 431A connector onto the extension cable and plug it into the front of your master socket. A BT splitter adapter may be needed if you still require local use of your master socket.
