Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and level.
- Measurements: Accurately measure the length of the worktop to determine the upstand length required.
- Cutting: Cut the upstand to the required size using appropriate tools. Ensure cuts are clean and precise.
- Adhesive: Apply a suitable adhesive (typically silicone sealant or construction adhesive) to the back of the upstand.
- Placement: Carefully position the upstand against the wall, aligning it with the worktop. Apply even pressure to ensure a secure bond.
- Sealing: Seal the edges with sealant to prevent water ingress.
Compatibility: The Wilsonart Mountain Oak Kitchen Upstand is designed to be compatible with Wilsonart Mountain Oak worktops and breakfast bars. It is also compatible with a variety of kitchen designs and styles.
Care:
- Clean regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which can damage the surface.
- Wipe up spills immediately to prevent staining.
- Avoid placing hot items directly against the upstand.
