The YouGarden Barrel Planter 30cm (2 Pack) is designed for gardeners seeking a charming, low-maintenance way to enhance patios, balconies, or terraces. Its key benefit is providing the aesthetic of a rustic wooden barrel with the durability and ease of use of lightweight plastic, avoiding common issues like rot and cracking. The only caveat is its specific size, which may not be suitable for very large plants.

Each planter has a diameter of 30cm and a height of 20cm. The volume is approximately 9 litres.
No, the planters come with pre-inserted drainage holes to ensure proper water management for your plants.
While durable, they are designed for outdoor use. If used indoors, ensure you place a tray underneath to catch any water and prevent damage to surfaces, as the drainage holes are functional.
You can clean the planters with a damp cloth. For tougher dirt, use a mild soap and water solution, then rinse and wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.
The plastic is durable, but for prolonged exposure to severe frost, it is recommended to empty the planters and store them in a frost-free location to maximize their lifespan.
They are ideal for bedding plants, trailing flowers, herbs, and smaller shrubs or feature plants that do not require a very deep root system.
Please refer to the retailer or manufacturer's website for specific warranty information, as it can vary.
The planters are designed with drainage holes at the bottom. If water is escaping from the sides, ensure the planter is not overfilled with soil, or check if there are any accidental perforations not related to the drainage system.
Check that the pre-inserted drainage holes are not blocked. Ensure the planter is receiving adequate sunlight for the specific plants chosen and that the soil is appropriate for their needs.
Ensure the planter is placed on a flat, stable surface. For added stability, especially if planting heavy shrubs, consider placing a layer of gravel at the bottom before adding soil.
Setup:
These planters come ready to use. Simply place them in your desired location, fill with suitable compost, and plant your chosen flowers, shrubs, or herbs. Ensure the area can support the weight of the planter once filled.
Compatibility:
Suitable for a wide range of plants including bedding plants, annuals, perennials, compact shrubs, and herbs. They are ideal for patios, balconies, terraces, doorsteps, and small garden spaces.
Care:
To clean, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the wood-effect finish. Store in a frost-free location during winter if extreme cold is expected, though the plastic is designed for durability.
