The Café Olé BFD Cafetière by Grunwerg is an ideal choice for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate a blend of durability, heat retention, and modern aesthetic. This 1L stainless steel press excels at keeping coffee hot for extended periods, making it perfect for slow mornings or serving guests; however, users should be mindful that its stainless steel body prevents visual monitoring of the brew strength compared to traditional glass carafes.

While the stainless steel is high quality, hand washing is recommended to preserve the mirror-effect finish and the integrity of the double-wall insulation.
Yes, the mesh filtration system is effective for brewing loose-leaf tea, provided the tea leaves are not so fine that they pass through the mesh.
No, the handle is designed to be hollow, which effectively dissipates heat and ensures it remains cool even when the carafe is full of hot coffee.
The 1L capacity typically yields approximately 4 to 8 cups, depending on your preferred serving size.
No, this cafetière is designed for brewing using hot water poured from a kettle. It should not be placed directly on a heat source.
The coffee grind might be too fine. Ensure you are using a coarse grind specifically for French Press brewing.
Check that the filter plate is screwed securely onto the plunger rod and ensure the mesh is not bent or damaged.
Wipe the mirror-finish exterior with a soft, dry microfiber cloth after washing to restore the shine.
To maintain the mirror finish and structural integrity of your Café Olé BFD Cafetière, avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch the stainless steel. It is recommended to wash the components by hand in warm soapy water immediately after use. Ensure the filter mesh is thoroughly rinsed to remove trapped grounds.
When reassembling the plunger mechanism after cleaning, ensure the filter plate is tightened correctly to the central rod. This prevents grounds from slipping past the mesh and into your final cup. While the stainless steel construction is highly durable, avoid impact with hard surfaces to prevent dings to the polished exterior.
