These chlorine granules are a popular choice for maintaining safe and bacteria-free pool and spa water. They dissolve rapidly and are long-lasting, with minimal impact on water pH. Suitable for shock dosing small above-ground pools, these stabilized chlorine granules are ideal for regular use. Ensure your pool or spa's pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 before application. For spas, maintain a free chlorine residual of 3-5 mg/l (ppm), and for swimming pools, 1-3 mg/l (ppm). For initial shock treatment in newly filled spas, use 50 mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20 mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours. If the water temperature is below 20 degrees C, or if unsure, pre-dissolve the granules in a plastic container at a rate of 10g per liter of water before adding to the pool or spa with the pumps running. Repeat doses as needed to maintain required levels. Periodic shock dosing is recommended to eliminate contamination.
