It offers built-in high availability with automatic minute-level failover and active-passive controller configurations to defend against operational disruptions. Engineered for demanding environments, the SA3400D excels in both NAS and SAN storage roles, supporting efficient file serving (SMB, NFS) and various block storage applications (iSCSI, Fibre Channel). It allows for consolidation of data infrastructure, empowering team collaboration, sandbox applications, and VM storage on a unified platform. The SA3400D provides flexible scaling options for storage capacity and I/O performance, with dual 10GbE and quad 1GbE ports, and supports expansion cards for additional 10/25GbE connectivity. It ensures effortless data protection for physical servers, virtual machines, and cloud services with Synology Active Backup Suite and advanced iSCSI storage compatibility with major virtualization platforms. The unit is backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Key features include over 3500/2900 MB/s sequential read/write throughput and a maximum storage capacity of over 500 TB. It can scale up to 180/96 drives with expansion units like RX2417sas/RX1217sas.
