Airflo Superflo Max Smooth Stillwater Floating Fly Line - Lichen/Navy

The main advantage is its specialized design for optimal casting distance and reliable floating performance on stillwaters.

This line is available in WF6, WF7, and WF8 weights.

While it can be used in slower, wider sections of rivers, it is primarily designed and performs best in stillwater environments like lakes and ponds.

It is recommended to clean the line regularly, especially after use in dirty water, and before long-term storage. A thorough cleaning after every few fishing trips is generally sufficient.

WF stands for 'Weight Forward', indicating that the line has a heavier, thicker front taper designed for easier casting.

This line is compatible with any fly rod designed to cast the corresponding weight forward (WF) floating line, typically indicated on the rod blank.

This specific model is the Lichen/Navy color combination.

Ensure your leader is not too long or too thick for the line weight. Check for line damage or knots in the running line. Apply line dressing to improve slickness.

Clean the line thoroughly with mild soap and water, then reapply line dressing. Ensure no debris is adhering to the line.

Verify the line weight matches your rod. Practice casting technique, focusing on a smooth acceleration and pause. Ensure the line is clean and well-dressed.

Re-tie the leader connection using a strong and appropriate knot. Inspect the fly line end for any fraying or damage and trim if necessary.
