AVIT Trimming Knife - Auto Load

To retract the blade, press the release button and slide the blade carriage fully into the handle until it locks securely. Always retract the blade when not in use.

The knife features 4 lockable positions for variable cutting depths. Select your desired depth by extending or retracting the blade to the corresponding notch.

While durable, this trimming knife is best suited for general-purpose cutting tasks, crafting, and light to medium-duty applications. For heavy-duty demolition or very thick materials, a different type of cutting tool may be more appropriate.

Blade replacement frequency depends on usage and the material being cut. Replace the blade when you notice dullness, reduced cutting performance, or visible damage.

It is recommended to keep the knife dry to prevent rust or damage to the internal mechanism. Avoid using it in excessively wet environments.

Ensure the blade is correctly seated in the carriage and that there is no obstruction in the loading mechanism. Check for debris.

Make sure the blade is extended to allow access to the depth adjustment. Clean any debris around the locking mechanism.

Check if the blade lock is fully engaged in the desired cutting position. If the issue persists, inspect the mechanism for damage.
