The Bosch Accessories Professional Sanding Block - M480 comes with 2x P80 grit, 2x P120 grit, and 1x P180 grit sanding nets.

The block is designed for hook and loop attachment, so it should work with other brands' sanding sheets that also use this system and are of a compatible size. However, Bosch sanding nets are recommended for optimal performance.

You don't switch sides; the block itself has distinct hard and soft surfaces. You simply orient the block so the desired side is in contact with the material you are sanding.

The Dual Density design offers versatility, allowing you to use the firmer side for flatter surfaces or more aggressive sanding, and the softer side for conforming to curves, edges, and profiles.

The lifespan of sanding nets depends on the material being sanded, the grit used, and the pressure applied. They are consumables and will eventually need replacement when they become clogged or worn.

While it can be used on flat surfaces, it is most effective for smaller areas, edges, curves, and profiles. For very large, flat areas, a power sander might be more efficient.

Ensure both the hook and loop surfaces on the block and the net are clean and free of dust or debris. Press firmly to secure the net.

Check that the sanding net is attached flat and securely. Ensure consistent pressure is applied during sanding. Try using the appropriate side of the dual-density block for the surface being worked on.
