Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Proper installation is crucial for the longevity and appearance of your vinyl flooring. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level before laying the vinyl. Follow manufacturer guidelines for adhesive or self-adhesive application, ensuring edges are sealed to prevent moisture ingress.
Compatibility:
This vinyl flooring is suitable for most residential indoor applications. It can be installed over existing hard, smooth subfloors. It is not recommended for use in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations or direct, prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals.
Care:
To maintain the appearance and durability of your vinyl flooring:
- Regularly sweep or vacuum to remove dust and grit.
- Clean spills immediately with a damp cloth.
- For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral floor cleaner specifically designed for vinyl.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or excessive water, as these can damage the surface or seep underneath.
