The Freefoam 250mm White Fascia Capping Board is an ideal solution for contractors and homeowners looking to provide a clean, durable finish to new roofline installations or to encapsulate existing timber fascias. Offering a weather-resistant and low-maintenance exterior, this 10mm thick board is engineered for longevity; however, it is important to note that for new build applications, it must be supported by a minimum 25mm thick structural timber backing board.

No, the white finish is designed to be low-maintenance and does not require painting.

The board features a 40mm return leg.
These boards are supplied in 5-meter lengths.
Ensure that the fixings are placed at the correct intervals and that the supporting timber is perfectly level.
Ensure you are using high-quality stainless steel Polytop nails; replace any standard carbon-steel nails immediately.
Check that boards are cut square and installed with proper allowance for thermal movement as per the manufacturer guidelines.
To install, ensure your surface is clean and level. When fixing, use only stainless steel Polytop nails to prevent rust streaking on the white finish. Always ensure that you leave a small expansion gap if installing in varying temperatures, as PVC-U will naturally expand and contract.
Care is straightforward: simply wipe the boards down periodically with a mild soap solution and water to remove dirt and grime. Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads or solvent-based cleaners, as these can damage the surface finish of the board.
