Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance, verify that both your camera port and computer port are USB-C capable and support the required data protocol. Because this is a high-bandwidth cable, it is recommended to plug it directly into a port on your computer rather than through a low-quality USB hub.
Care Instructions:
- Coiling: Always use the 'over-under' coiling method to prevent twists and internal damage to the wiring.
- Strain Relief: Even with the right-angled design, use a tethering block or a cable clamp on your camera cage to provide extra strain relief.
- Storage: Store the cable in a protective case or pouch to keep the connectors free of dust and debris. Do not store near sharp objects that could fray the braided exterior.
