Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your National Geographic binoculars is straightforward. First, adjust the width of the barrels by folding the hinge until you see a single, circular image. If you wear glasses, twist down the rubber eyecups to maintain the correct distance from the lenses. Use the central focus wheel to sharpen the image for your left eye, then use the diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece to calibrate the focus for your specific vision needs. To care for your binoculars, always use the provided nylon case when not in use to prevent scratches. Clean the lenses only with a professional-grade microfiber cloth and lens cleaning solution; avoid using abrasive materials like paper towels, as these can permanently damage the specialized lens coatings. Keep them away from extreme heat and moisture to preserve the internal optics.
