Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation is Key: Ensure the subfloor is completely clean, dry, and smooth. Remove all old flooring, adhesive residue, and dust. Uneven surfaces or debris will compromise adhesion and the final appearance.
Installation Steps:
- Clean and dry the subfloor thoroughly.
- Measure and plan your layout. Start from the center of the room or a prominent wall.
- Peel back the adhesive backing from one tile.
- Carefully align the tile with your starting point and press down firmly.
- Continue laying tiles, pressing them together firmly to ensure a tight fit and good adhesion.
Compatibility: These tiles are best suited for interior floors on concrete, wood, or existing vinyl surfaces that are smooth and well-sealed. Avoid installing over loose carpets, textured surfaces, or floors with significant gaps.
Care Instructions: Clean regularly with a damp mop or cloth. Mild soap can be used for tougher spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive water, as this can degrade the adhesive and wear layer over time. Sweep or vacuum periodically to remove grit that could scratch the surface.
