The type of abrasive depends on the material being blasted and the desired finish. Common abrasives include sand, glass beads, and aluminum oxide. Refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for specific materials.

Always wear eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), gloves, a respirator (to prevent inhaling dust), and appropriate clothing. Consider using hearing protection as well.

After use, disconnect the air supply, empty the hopper, and remove any remaining abrasive from the gun and hose. Use compressed air to blow out any remaining debris. The gun nozzle may be replaced as necessary.

The kit is compatible with most air compressors. However, ensure your compressor meets the minimum CFM and PSI requirements specified in the product documentation.

Store the shot blasting kit in a dry place, away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Ensure that the hose is properly coiled and stored, and that the hopper is empty of abrasive.
