The KNIPEX 71 31 250 SB CoBolt XL is designed for powerful cutting of larger cross-sections and very hard materials. It features a two-hand operation for maximum cutting force, requiring 60% less effort than conventional high-leverage diagonal cutters. The special joint design provides a 40-fold increase in manual force. It includes a gripping surface below the joint for handling wires from 1.0 mm. The induction-hardened precision blades have a cutting edge hardness of approximately 64 HRC and a recess for easier cutting of round material like hard wires due to better leverage near the fulcrum. This model comes on a self-service card/blister. Cutting capacities: medium hard wire (diameter) up to 6.0mm, hard wire (diameter) up to 4.3mm, and piano wire (diameter) up to 4.2mm.
