The Primaflow 32mm Compression Waste Straight Connector is an essential plumbing component designed for both DIY enthusiasts and professional plumbers who need a reliable way to join two lengths of waste pipe end-to-end. Its primary benefit is the quick, tool-assisted installation that eliminates the need for messy solvent welding, ensuring a leak-free seal through a simple nut-and-olive mechanism. While it offers excellent durability and ease of use, it is important to note that it is specifically engineered for 32mm waste pipes and should not be used for high-pressure water supply lines.

No, this is a mechanical compression fitting and does not require any solvents or chemical adhesives.
No, this connector is designed specifically for gravity-fed waste drainage systems and is not rated for high-pressure supply lines.
This connector is designed specifically for 32mm outer diameter waste pipes.
Yes, unlike solvent-welded joints, you can unscrew the compression nuts to disassemble or adjust the pipework as needed.
Yes, at 7cm in height, the unit is compact enough for most standard under-sink installations.
The connector is compatible with pipes meeting BS1455 and BS1452 standards.
Ensure the pipe is pushed fully into the fitting and the olive is seated correctly; tighten the compression nut slightly further.
Check that the threads are aligned and not cross-threaded; ensure the olive is not jammed or tilted inside the housing.
Verify that the pipe is indeed 32mm; if it is, ensure the olive was correctly placed on the pipe before tightening the nut.
To install, ensure your 32mm waste pipe ends are cut square and are free from burrs or sharp plastic shards. Slide the compression nut and the olive onto each pipe end, then insert the pipes into the connector body. Tighten the nuts by hand until firm, then apply a final turn with a wrench to compress the olive fully. This product is strictly compatible with 32mm pipes adhering to BS1455/BS1452 standards. For care, avoid over-tightening the nuts as this can cause the plastic threads to strip. Periodically check the joints after the first few weeks of use for any signs of dampness, particularly after heavy sink usage.
