It is suitable for most types of timber decking, fences, garden sheds, gates, and hot tubs.

One liter covers approximately 8-10 square meters, depending on the timber's porosity and condition.

It's best to apply in moderate temperatures. Avoid application in very cold, damp, or humid conditions, as this can affect drying times and finish quality.

Reapplication frequency depends on exposure to weather. Typically, an annual check and reapplication as needed is recommended, usually when the finish starts to look worn.

Clean the surface periodically with a mild detergent and water. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could strip the finish.

There is a 15-minute drying time recommended between coats.

It is best used on bare or previously oiled timber. If applying over old finishes, ensure they are completely removed or compatible. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.

The oil enhances the natural beauty and color of the wood. Different variants (e.g., Teak, Medium Oak) will impart a subtle tone. The Clear variant primarily enhances the existing color and provides protection.

This can happen if the oil was applied too thickly or not evenly. Ensure application is thin and consistent. If the issue is minor, it may resolve with time; for significant streaks, gently abrade the area and reapply a thin, even coat.

The timber might have been too porous or weathered, requiring more than one coat or a more intensive preparation. Ensure the surface was clean and dry. Consider applying a second coat after the first has dried for 15 minutes, or use a wood cleaner prior to oiling for severely faded wood.

This is often due to over-application or applying in cold, damp conditions. Ensure thin coats are applied and allow the recommended 15 minutes between them. If tackiness persists after 24 hours, ensure adequate ventilation and allow more time. In persistent cases, gentle abrasion may be necessary before a very thin reapplication.

This can occur if the timber was not completely dry when the oil was applied, or if moisture got trapped. Ensure timber is dry before application and allow full drying time. Affected areas may need to be re-sanded and re-oiled.
