Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Locate Studs: Identify wall studs for secure mounting. If studs are not available, use appropriate heavy-duty wall anchors suitable for your wall type (e.g., drywall, plaster).
- Mark Placement: Measure and mark the desired height and level for the shelf.
- Attach Brackets: Securely attach the floating shelf brackets to the wall at your marked locations.
- Mount Shelf: Slide the shelf onto the brackets, ensuring a snug fit. Some models may require securing with screws from underneath.
Compatibility:
This shelf is designed for mounting on most standard interior walls. Ensure your wall type can support the weight of the shelf plus its intended contents. Always use appropriate mounting hardware for your specific wall construction.
Care:
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For tougher marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the wood finish.
- Keep away from direct, prolonged sunlight and excessive moisture.
