Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Installation of the Bilstein B16 PSS10 kit involves replacing the factory struts and springs. It is recommended to have this system installed by a qualified mechanic to ensure proper alignment and calibration. The ride height is adjusted via threaded collars on the coilover bodies, and damping is adjusted using the Dual-Click system located on the top of the strut (typically requiring removal of the adjustment knob to access). Always follow the manufacturer's torque specifications.
Compatibility: This kit is specifically designed for compatible vehicle models. Always verify fitment with your vehicle's make, model, and year before purchase. Ensure the kit is certified for your region if applicable.
Care: Regular inspection of the coilovers for any signs of damage, leaks, or corrosion is advised. Keep the threaded adjustment collars clean and lubricated with a suitable lubricant to prevent seizing. After installation and alignment, avoid aggressive driving for the first 100-200 miles to allow the suspension components to settle.
