The DeWalt DCF921 18v Brushless 1/2 Compact impact wrench delivers up to 609 Nm of breakaway torque (406 Nm of fastening torque) for removing tight bolts. Its ultra-compact, lightweight design allows for use in confined spaces. The square drive with a hog ring enables quick socket changes, and a hole in the anvil allows for securing sockets with a retaining pin or rubber O-ring, making it ideal for scaffolders. A variable trigger provides complete control over all applications. The efficient brushless motor offers high performance, extended tool life, and a shorter design (only 125mm). A bright white LED with a delay feature improves visibility and functionality, and now includes brightness control to dim or turn off the light as needed. The comfortable rubber XR grip and switch enhance application comfort and control. The DCF921 is recommended for scaffolding. Scaffolding Mode helps prevent overtightening in forward and fastener run-off in reverse. In forward, the tool impacts for 1.5 seconds after run-down to prevent over-tightening. In reverse, the tool stops when the fastener is loose to prevent run-off. The Tactile 4 Mode Select Feature allows users to choose different modes and speed settings for ultimate control. Scaffold mode (DCF921 only) helps prevent overtightening in forward and fastener run-off in reverse. Low Speed mode reduces tool speed in forward to help prevent overtightening of small fasteners, operating at normal speed in reverse. Precision Wrench mode pauses before impacting in forward to prevent over-tightening and lowers speed in reverse when the fastener is loose to help prevent run-off. High Speed mode operates at normal speed in both forward and reverse.
