The JCB 21-18RT-B 18v Router features an efficient Brushless Motor for extended run time, increased power, and longer tool life. It is designed for various cabinetry and woodworking tasks with a variable speed control dial (10,000-30,000 RPM) and electronic speed control for consistent speed under load. The soft start feature ensures smoother start-ups and better accuracy. Convenience features include a fine depth adjustment system for precise settings, dual L.E.D. lights for illuminating the work surface, and a quick-release cam lock system for easy depth adjustments and base removal/installation. It includes the Trimmer Router Base, and additional bases and attachments are available separately. This 18V Trimmer Router is equipped with Brushless Motor Technology, offering 25% more power and 50% more run time due to fewer moving parts and eliminated carbon brush resistance. The variable speed with soft start allows for controlled and consistent application into various materials. A vacuum adaptor is included for dust extraction, and a lock-on/off switch enhances safety. It comes with 3/8” and 1/4” collets suitable for most router bits and a built-in LED for improved visibility. The ergonomic design ensures increased user comfort. The package includes a Trimmer Guide, Laminate Trimmer Base, Straight Guide, 10mm Template Guide Bush, 6.35mm Collet Cone (1/4”), and a Dust Nozzle for the Trimmer Base.
