While it can be used for viewing the Moon, it is primarily designed for terrestrial (daytime) observations due to its image-erecting properties. For deep-sky objects, specialized astronomical eyepieces are generally recommended.

An erecting eyepiece corrects the inverted and reversed image produced by many astronomical telescopes, presenting an upright and correctly oriented view, similar to what you would see with binoculars or your naked eye.

Some telescopes, particularly certain reflector designs, have a shorter focal travel range. The extension tube helps to move the focal plane outwards, allowing the eyepiece to achieve focus.

Gently brush away loose dust with a soft lens brush or use a can of compressed air. For fingerprints or smudges, use a clean microfiber lens cloth, applying lens cleaning solution sparingly if needed.

The field of view is moderate, suitable for terrestrial subjects. Specific angular field of view depends on the telescope it is used with.

This eyepiece is primarily intended for visual observation. While it might be possible to attempt photography with it, its design is optimized for visual use, and results may vary.

Adjust the telescope's focuser slowly until a sharp image is achieved. Ensure the eyepiece and extension tube (if used) are properly seated.

Verify that you are using the erecting eyepiece correctly. If the issue persists, the eyepiece may be faulty; contact customer support.

Confirm your telescope's focuser accepts 1.25-inch eyepieces. If it's a different size, an adapter may be required, or this eyepiece may not be compatible.
