Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve the best results, ensure the backing material is kept dry, as moisture can weaken the bond between the aluminum oxide grain and the paper. When using with a power sander, check that your machine’s clamping system is tight to prevent the paper from slipping. After use, store the roll vertically or in a dust-free box to prevent edge damage. Avoid folding the paper sharply, as this can cause the abrasive surface to crack and flake off prematurely. If the paper begins to lose its cutting speed, use a dedicated cleaning stick or brush to remove trapped sawdust.
