Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials.
- Placement: Choose a level, stable surface. Ensure at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clearance around the sides and back, and 20 cm (8 inches) above the unit for proper ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Leveling: Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom to ensure the fridge is stable and level. This prevents vibration and helps the door seal correctly.
- Initial Cleaning: Wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent before first use.
- Power Connection: Allow the fridge to stand upright for at least 4 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerant fluids to settle. Connect to a grounded power outlet.
- Temperature Setting: Turn the thermostat dial to your desired setting. Start with a medium setting and adjust as needed.
- Door Reversal (if applicable): The door on this model is reversible. Refer to the detailed instructions in your user manual for steps on how to change the door hinge from right to left, if desired.
Compatibility

- Under-Counter: Fits perfectly into standard kitchen cabinet openings, providing a sleek, integrated look.
- Freestanding: Can be placed anywhere with adequate ventilation, making it ideal for bedrooms, offices, small apartments, or utility rooms.
- Small Spaces: Excellent for areas where traditional full-sized refrigerators are too large.
Care
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug the fridge before cleaning.
- Interior: Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with a solution of mild detergent and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Exterior: Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
- Door Seal: Regularly inspect and clean the door gasket to ensure a tight seal.
- Defrosting the Chiller Box:
- The chiller box may accumulate ice over time. When the ice layer becomes about 5mm thick, it's time to defrost.
- Unplug: Disconnect the fridge from power.
- Empty: Remove all items from the chiller box and fridge compartment.
- Melt: Leave the door open and place a towel at the bottom to collect water. *Never* use sharp objects to chip away ice.
- Clean & Dry: Once defrosted, clean and thoroughly dry the chiller box before plugging the fridge back in.
- Ventilation: Ensure ventilation openings are clear and free from obstructions at all times to maintain cooling efficiency.
