Full details
The Daiwa N'ZON Landing Net Handle Extension is an essential accessory for feeder anglers who require additional reach when netting fish in difficult or steep-banked swims. Designed specifically for the N'ZON range, this 1-meter extension provides a seamless bridge between your net head and handle, offering improved control and safety for your catch. While it significantly enhances maneuverability, it is strictly engineered for compatibility with existing N'ZON feeder handles, meaning users should verify their specific handle model before purchase.

FAQs
Is this extension compatible with non-N'ZON handles?
The Daiwa N'ZON Landing Net Handle Extension is specifically designed for the N'ZON range. While threads may occasionally match other brands, compatibility is not guaranteed.
Does it come with a net head?
No, this is an extension accessory only. The net head and the main feeder handle must be purchased separately.
What is the purpose of the foam insert?
The foam insert acts as a seal to prevent water from entering the hollow body of the extension, which helps keep the handle lightweight and manageable.
Can I use multiple extensions at once?
It is generally not recommended to connect multiple extensions as it may compromise the structural stability and balance of your landing net.
How should I clean the extension?
Rinse with fresh, clean water after each use and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Store in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
Difficulty threading onto handle
Ensure that both the extension and handle threads are free of debris or grit; clean with a soft brush if necessary.
Connection feels loose during use
Check that the threads are fully seated. If looseness persists, inspect the thread for any signs of wear or cross-threading.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Adds a full meter of reach for difficult swims
- Internal foam insert effectively prevents water buildup
- Seamless integration with N'ZON feeder handles
- Helps keep net heads clear of bankside obstacles
Cons
- Compatibility limited primarily to N'ZON series handles
- Adds weight to the total landing net assembly
- Not intended for use as a standalone net handle
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To attach the extension, simply unscrew your current N'ZON net head, thread the extension onto the handle, and reattach the net head to the distal end of the extension. Ensure all threaded connections are firm but not overtightened to prevent damage to the fittings.
Regarding care, although the internal foam insert minimizes water intake, it is recommended to rinse the extension with fresh water after fishing, especially in saltwater or muddy environments. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storing it in a rod bag or holdall to maintain the integrity of the joints and internal seal.
