Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present (main unit, cooking basket, drawer).
- Clean First Use: Before the first use, wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Wash the cooking basket and drawer with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the appliance for proper ventilation (at least 10-15 cm from walls or other appliances).
- Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Compatibility
This Statesman air fryer is compatible with standard household electrical outlets. While designed to be self-sufficient, small silicone liners, parchment paper, or heat-resistant accessories specifically designed for air fryers of similar capacity can be used to further aid cooking and cleanup.
Care
- Cleaning After Each Use: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The cooking basket and drawer are typically non-stick and can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. They may also be dishwasher-safe (consult the user manual for confirmation).
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Interior: Gently wipe the interior heating element and surrounding areas with a damp cloth if food residue is present, ensuring the unit is unplugged and cool.
- Storage: Store the air fryer in a cool, dry place when not in use.
