Avoid application if rain is forecast within 24 hours, as wash-off will reduce the product's effectiveness.

Stump treatment is most effective when applied directly after cutting, preferably in autumn or winter when the sap is moving downward.

Ensure the plant was actively growing at the time of application. Woody weeds are harder to kill if they are dormant or under drought stress.
