Setup, Compatibility & Care
Surface Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are sound, clean, and dry before application. New or bare surfaces may require a thinned sealing coat. For very absorbent surfaces, a thinned coat of Armstead Trade Vinyl Matt (1 part water to 5 parts paint) is recommended before applying the main coats. Always consult the Armstead Trade Datasheet AM202 for detailed preparation guidance, especially if dealing with old lead paints.
Compatibility
This emulsion is best suited for normal interior wall and ceiling surfaces. It is compatible with most standard interior primers and fillers. It is not designed for exterior use.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use. Thinning is generally not required for normal use. For conventional spray application, thin with up to 1 part water to 5 parts paint. For airless spray, thinning is not required. Apply 1-2 full coats for best results.
Tool Cleaning
Clean all brushes, rollers, and spray equipment with water immediately after use. Remove as much excess paint as possible before washing.
Storage
Store the paint in its original container in a dry place, avoiding extreme temperatures. Ensure the container is tightly sealed when not in use.
