Yes, the roll-top mechanism can be detached from the base for a thorough deep clean.
It is designed primarily for indoor use; prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the plastic to become brittle over time.
Clean the side tracks of the lid with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap to remove any sticky residue.
Ensure the interior is wiped down regularly and check that no waste has spilled into the bottom of the bin housing.
Use a larger bag or fold the excess edge of the bag over the rim before placing the lid back on to create a tighter seal.
Setup is simple: remove the packaging, place the base in your desired location, and slide the roll-top lid onto the runners. This bin is compatible with standard large-sized bin liners. For care and maintenance, it is recommended to wipe the interior and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent once a week to prevent odor buildup. Ensure the track for the roll-top lid remains free of dust or sticky residue to keep the sliding action smooth. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, as these can scratch the plastic finish.
