The Yale Y3 standard security nightlatch offers a stylish contemporary lock with the performance and quality expected from Yale. It features a modern design and can be fitted as a replacement for P77 traditional nightlatches without additional chiselling. The latch can be deadlocked internally using the snib button, and the snib function allows the latch to be held back. This nightlatch is suitable for both left and right-handed, inward-opening doors. It comes with the Yale 1109 cylinder and 2 keys. The Y3 nightlatches have a 60mm backset, which is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole. Locks with a 40mm backset are typically used in restricted spaces, such as narrow glazed doors. Supplied with the 1109 external cylinder.
