The Avilo Dachshund Draught Excluder is perfect for homeowners looking to improve energy efficiency while adding a touch of personality to their living space. Its primary benefit is providing an effective barrier against cold air entering under doors, helping to maintain a warmer, more comfortable environment. Please note that while it excels at blocking floor-level drafts, it is not a substitute for permanent door weather stripping or insulation solutions.

Yes, it is designed to fit the width of most standard interior and exterior doors.
No, it is not machine washable. Please only spot clean with a damp cloth.
Yes, it is weighted to sit firmly in place against the door.
It can be used on carpets, though it performs best on flat, hard floor surfaces.
Yes, it is suitable for external doors to help block incoming drafts, provided the door is protected from direct rain or moisture.
Ensure the floor surface is level and the excluder is pressed firmly against the door frame. If the floor is slippery, place a small piece of non-slip rug tape underneath.
Use a soft lint roller or a vacuum with an upholstery attachment to gently remove surface debris.
Setting up the Avilo Dachshund Draught Excluder is immediate: simply remove it from the packaging and place it horizontally against the base of your desired door. It is compatible with almost any standard door width. To ensure longevity, it is recommended to spot clean the outer material with a damp cloth if it collects dust or dirt. Do not submerge the unit in water or put it in a washing machine, as the internal weighting materials may become damaged or clumped.
