Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your Neo Electric Heater is straightforward. As a freestanding unit, simply remove it from its packaging and place it on a flat, stable, non-flammable surface. Ensure there's adequate clearance around the heater (at least 3 feet or 0.9 meters from furniture, curtains, or other combustible materials) to allow for proper heat distribution and safety. Then, plug the heater into a standard, grounded electrical outlet. No assembly is required.
Compatibility
Your Neo Electric Heater is designed to be compatible with standard household electrical outlets (e.g., 120V in North America, 230V in Europe/UK). Always ensure the outlet's voltage and current rating meet the heater's requirements (2000W at maximum setting) to prevent overloading circuits. It is suitable for use in any indoor room where supplemental heat and ambiance are desired.
Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your heater:
- Cleaning: Before cleaning, always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
- Ventilation: Regularly check that the air intake and heat outlet vents are clear of dust, lint, or any obstructions. Blocked vents can lead to reduced efficiency or activate the overheating safety shut-off.
- Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a cool, dry place. Consider covering it to protect it from dust.
- Maintenance: There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to open or repair the heater yourself. If you experience issues, consult the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.
