The NGK SD05FGA Resistor Spark Plug Caps are designed to provide perfect noise suppression across all frequencies without adversely affecting engine performance. These caps feature a durable resistor element pressed between the plug terminal and the high tension wire connection, ensuring steady resistance and preventing interior flashover. Constructed with superlative ceramic materials that resist deterioration and have small resistance variation under overload, along with a sturdy phenolic resin plug connector, these caps are built to withstand tremendous heat and high tension. The tough EPDM rubber construction is intended for competition and trial applications. Special rubber liners on both ends prevent moisture from causing electrical leakage. NGK resistor covers are essential for meeting noise suppression legislation, often used in combination with NGK resistor spark plugs to satisfy testing requirements. Despite the use of resistor covers and spark plugs, NGK products ensure no loss of performance or service life.
