No, they are specifically engineered with a lightweight construction to ensure they are comfortable for long periods of wear.
It is not recommended. Exposure to salt water or chlorine can damage the gold plating and degrade the natural shell and tassel materials.
The base metal is high-quality stainless steel, which is then plated in 18k gold.
The earrings use stainless steel, which is generally hypoallergenic, but individual reactions can vary based on specific metal sensitivities.
Store them individually in a pouch or a sectioned jewelry box to keep the tassels from getting caught on other items.
Gently mist the tassels with a tiny amount of water and comb them out with a fine-toothed clean makeup brush or comb.
Use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to gently buff the gold-plated surfaces to restore shine; avoid abrasive polishing creams.
To keep your Luxe Tones Isla earrings in pristine condition, avoid contact with perfumes, hairspray, and lotions, as these chemicals can dull the gold plating and damage the natural shell. When not in use, store them hanging or laid flat in a soft-lined jewelry box to prevent the tassel threads from fraying or tangling with the shell charms. If the tassels become slightly ruffled, use a soft-bristled brush to gently smooth them back into alignment.
