Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Clear the planting area of any existing vegetation and weeds. Lightly till or rake the soil surface to create a fine tilth.
- Sowing: Scatter the wildflower seeds evenly over the prepared soil. The inclusion of seed sowing granules aids in even distribution.
- Raking: Gently rake the seeds into the soil surface to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.
- Watering: Water the area thoroughly immediately after sowing and continue to water daily, preferably in the evening, until seedlings appear.
- Ongoing Care: Once the seedlings are established, water as required depending on the weather conditions. Avoid overwatering.
Compatibility: This mix is designed for shaded areas. Ensure the planting location receives adequate shade.
Care: Regularly monitor for weeds and remove them to prevent competition with the wildflowers. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowering.
