Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the wall is clean, dry, flat, and structurally sound. Remove any old tiles, adhesive, or wallpaper.
- Measure and Cut: Carefully measure the required dimensions and cut the panel using a fine-tooth saw or jigsaw. Always wear safety glasses.
- Apply Adhesive: Apply a suitable waterproof adhesive generously to the back of the panel or the wall surface, following adhesive manufacturer instructions.
- Install Panel: Press the panel firmly into place, ensuring it is level and aligned correctly. For multiple panels, ensure a tight fit to create a seamless finish.
- Seal Edges: Use a waterproof sealant (silicone or similar) around the edges, joints, and any cut-outs (like for fixtures) to ensure a watertight seal.
Compatibility:
The panel is designed for interior use in bathrooms, shower areas, and wet rooms. It adheres well to most flat, rigid surfaces including plasterboard, existing tiles (if smooth and well-adhered), and concrete. Ensure compatibility with your chosen adhesive.
Care:
- Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the matte finish.
- Wipe spills immediately to prevent staining.
