DXR SPD's are designed to take the rigours of BMX competition. They feature high retention force and a narrower release angle than normal MTB SPD pedals. The large integrated cage provides excellent pedal to shoe contact, increasing stability and control. These pedals are lightweight and high performance, utilizing a forged alloy body, chrome-moly axle, and a revised cleat interface for increased stability. They are beautifully constructed with a strong and slender spindle, using an 8 mm Allen wrench mounting system. The slim oval axle body housing sheds dirt efficiently and reduces stiction. A sealed cartridge axle system ensures reliability and simplified low maintenance. The easy entry system and tension adjustment provide plenty of support and hold the cleat firmly in place. Average weight is 414g.
