Troubleshooting
Food sticking to the pan surface.
Ensure the pan is adequately preheated before adding oil and food. Use sufficient cooking fat and do not overcrowd the pan. For sticky foods, consider using a non-stick pan or ensuring proper tempering of ingredients.
Uneven cooking or hot spots.
Verify that the hob heat is set appropriately for the pan size and cooking task. Ensure the pan is centered on the heat source. For induction, confirm the pan diameter is compatible with the burner size.
Water not draining effectively from the saucepan.
Ensure the lid is correctly aligned with the pan's rim, matching the steam vents with the draining holes. Check that the draining holes are not blocked by food particles.
Discoloration or dullness on the stainless steel surface.
This can be caused by mineral deposits from water or overheating. Clean with a specialized stainless steel cleaner or a paste of baking soda and water. Avoid prolonged overheating.
