MAC Small Eyeshadow - Soft Brown

When applied over a good eyeshadow primer, the MAC Small Eyeshadow in Soft Brown is formulated for long-lasting wear, typically lasting 8-10 hours without significant fading or creasing. Individual results may vary based on skin type and environmental factors.

For applying Soft Brown into the crease or as a transition shade, a soft, fluffy blending brush (e.g., MAC 217S) is ideal. For packing color onto the lid or using it to define the lash line, a denser shader brush (e.g., MAC 239S) or an angled brush (e.g., MAC 266S) would be appropriate.

The 'Soft Brown' shade is typically described as a matte finish. This makes it an excellent choice for natural looks, defining the crease, or as a transition shade that seamlessly blends other colors.

MAC Small Eyeshadow can be easily removed with most eye makeup removers or a gentle facial cleanser. Apply the remover to a cotton pad, gently press it onto your eyelid for a few seconds, and then wipe downwards without harsh rubbing.

Ensure your eyelid is prepped with primer and free of excess moisture or oil. Apply the eyeshadow in light layers, building up the color gradually. Use a clean, fluffy brush for blending to smooth out any patchy areas.

This is often due to natural oils on the eyelid or insufficient primer. Always use an eyeshadow primer before application. You can also lightly set your primer with a translucent powder before applying the eyeshadow.

For maximum color payoff, use an eyeshadow primer designed to enhance pigment. You can also try packing the color onto the lid with a flat, dense brush before blending the edges. Applying a small amount of setting spray to your brush before picking up product can also intensify the color.

Tap off any excess product from your brush before applying. You can also apply your eye makeup before your foundation to easily clean up any fallout, or hold a tissue under your eye while applying.

Use a clean, fluffy blending brush with a very light hand. Start blending in small circular motions or windshield wiper motions. If the product is too concentrated, pick up a small amount of translucent powder on your blending brush to help diffuse the edges.
