The Plasson Compression Fit Coupler is a versatile and robust fitting designed for connecting water mains and supply pipes across various sectors including infrastructure, agriculture, and horticulture. It is suitable for connecting both MDPE and MDPE irrigation pipes, with a pipe liner recommended for MDPE connections. Constructed from virgin Polypropylene, it offers exceptional impact strength and stress resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use, including exposure to direct sunlight and frost. The coupler features a captive O-ring to ensure a watertight seal and is designed for quick and easy installation by simply tightening the grip onto the pipe. The Plass4 system efficiently connects metric polyethylene pipes to a wide range of other pipe materials such as imperial polyethylene (alkathene), copper (table X & Y), lead, galvanised steel, and PVCu. Installation requires no specialist tools, simplifying the jointing process. This WRAS Approved product is accepted by water companies for use in drinking water systems. It allows for immediate repairs and its design ensures a long service life, exceeding 50 years. The system's versatility means only a few fitting sizes are needed to accommodate pipes ranging from 15mm to 50mm. It is PN16 pressure rated.
