The Ansmann Powerline 4 Smart is an intelligent and easy-to-use charger for 1-4 AA or AAA NiMH batteries. It features automatic diagnosis and individual monitoring of inserted batteries, allowing it to handle different sizes and capacities simultaneously. The charger can also attempt to recover deeply discharged batteries. Its compact and flexible design includes a changeable plug system for UK or EU mains sockets. The charger offers gentle pre-charging before fast charging at 500mA per position, and charging stops automatically once batteries are full, switching to a trickle charge to extend cell life. Clear LED displays above each slot show the charge level, and defective batteries are indicated.
