Setup, Compatibility & Care
For the best results, plant these bulbs during the autumn or winter months. Dig a hole roughly 10 cm deep, place the bulb with the pointed end facing upward, and cover with soil. If planting in pots, a standard peat-free bulb compost is sufficient. Maintain a distance of about 5–10 cm between bulbs to allow for proper airflow. After the flowers have faded, allow the foliage to die back naturally; this process is essential as it allows the bulb to store energy for next year’s growth. Avoid mowing over or cutting back the leaves until they have turned yellow and brittle.
