This British Standard Whitworth (BSW) Tap and Die Set is manufactured from tungsten steel, making it ideal for creating and repairing popular Whitworth threads. The taps and dies are etched with imperial sizes for easy identification. The set includes a tap wrench suitable for M3-M12 (1/16"-1/2") taps, and a die handle with a 25mm (1") internal diameter for securely holding components. The set includes dies in sizes 1/8 40 BSW, 3/16 24 BSW, 1/4 20 BSW, 5/16 18 BSW, 3/8 16 BSW, 7/16 14 BSW, and 1/2 12 BSW. It also includes plug and taper taps in sizes 1/8" / 3/16" / 1/4" / 5/16" / 3/8" / 7/16" / 1/2". A tap holder (200mm) and a die holder (200mm) for 25mm diameter dies are also included. Comes in a storage case.
